Brief de Design Graphique

A recent move by the Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott will see the return of the official titles ‘Knights and Dames’ to be awarded to outstanding citizens. Some say this move is a step back for Australia. However, the team at DesignCrowd think it presents a brilliant opportunity for designers to have some fun. We want you to take influential and famous Australians and dress them up as knights or dames. Think chain mail, swords, shields, tiaras, medieval dresses, horses, flags, carriages, etc. Go nuts! Funny and satirical submissions are encouraged.

Here are a few names to get you started:

James Packer, Gina Rinehart, Paul Keating, Dawn Fraser, Cate Blanchett, Kylie Minogue, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Adam Goodes, Gail Kelly, Julia Gillard, Rupert Murdoch, Cathy Freeman, Ian Thorpe, Johnathan Thurston, Billy Slater, John Butler, Darren Lockyer, Shane Warne and Ricky Ponting.

STYLE:
Format is up to you but submissions can be in any style - from illustration, hand-drawn graphics, cartoons, photoshop/photomontages or combinations of these techniques.

Prizes will be awarded for "Best Knight" and "Best Dame"

Group shots are welcome

We would also love to see some of Australia’s best know TV hosts 'knightified' and 'dameified' in a graphic.
