Brief de Design de Logo

Terreo is a new technology business which is designing a home digital alarm system. The word Terreo comes from the Latin 'to terrify' or 'scare away'. We want a logo which will translate well to a mobile application as well as to mobile web usage. We will be using this logo for a WordPress website and for business cards.

The final design should convey a sense of strength and security. Our products will be deployed in people's homes, so we want something that consumers will rapidly recognize as their digital home security system that is keeping their computers on their home networks safe. Unfortunately, the shield and lock symbols have been over-used in the security industry so we will need to stay away from those themes.

Since the name of the company is inspired by the Roman Army and the way that they would guard their forts and encampments, design elements from Roman militaria would be appropriate (Archery, spears, palisades, siege weapons, etc.).
