Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design plus "icon" version of logo design (like you would see Icon for an app) and business card design for our company,

Eve-Volution Inc.
Wake Up and Smell the Alternative....

Eve-Volution Inc is a for profit, social purpose company dedicated to identifying, developing and investing in eccentric, unpopular ideas that have the potential to take hold and change lives for the better

The logo should look professional but a touch alternative. Gender neutral (ie: Not too feminine). Also not like law firm or bank logo please.

I prefer clean, simple line designs with bit of edge. Logo needs to include the byline.

illustration/logo should evoke change for better, alternative paths, but also strength, agility, impact.

Colour scheme: Looking for use of fire engine red, deep taupe, white, black, and maybe yellow accent. Must also look OK in B&W.

Icon version should be readable on say, spine of a book.
