Brief de Design de Poster

We are re-editing and grading an obscure Japanese language film. The film was shot on 35mm quite a few years ago. We have a number of colour stills from the movie. The movies title KURU is currently being hand drawn by a Japanese artist and will be available shortly. It is mystery drama that cuts between modern and not so modern Japan.

It is not a Japanese horror film, but is plays a little bit spooky in parts. The main character is a writer. He is suffering from writers block. He drinks heavily and fades in and out of his own story to the point where the lines are quite blurred.

We are looking for a designer to produce the key art / movie poster. At this stage we are open to all design ideas, although we would like the title to run large down the poster somewhere. The poster will be used on the movies website, along with IMDB and VHX. Although there will not be a theatrical release, we will be doing a limited addition run of the actual poster. We have attached a number of low quality stills to get this project started. Additional format variations based on the original poster design may also be required.

Once this project has been completed we will require additional work for another title releases. So would be ideally looking for a designer who is interested in creating a distinctive key art style over a slow series of releases.
