Brief de Design Graphique
I created Urbanflow Engine, a tool that enables public participation for urban planning project. We enable people to get together to do collaborative urban design. We use the tool by organizing a workshop at a local community centre or a office. The workshop is a fun interactive way to engage with citizens on urban planning projects. Think of Draw with Friends except more like Urban Design with Friends.
This workshop is what I am trying to pitch for companies, architects and planning agencies in cities. I am looking to make a flyer that I can hand to professionals at conferences or send them via email. It should inform them about workshop and get them interested in reaching out or show it to their boss.
I have a sample of a flyer design attached. Don't worry about the text, It shows the look and feel that I am aiming for: sleek, minimal colors, to the point and modern. This flyer is going to be distributed to professionals in companies (architects, urban planners and landscape planners). It should communicate the workshop and the value proposition with text and imagery / icons.
There has to be a balance of text and visuals. I am happy if we use icons, since the workshop is interactive and people coming together to sketch urban designs on map and the flyer should communicate that.

The final flyer should be two pages long all the text for the flyer is in ufe-1-page-text.pdf attached. It needs to be formatted and fit in well.

The target audience of this flyer is architects, urban planners, landscape planners, planning officers in cities. Usually they would be college educated having degrees in Urban planning, landscape planning or architecture. They would be interested in Urban design. The age group is diverse anywhere from 21-71.
They may have to show this flyer to their boss either in person or over email. After sending this flyer around, they are expected to email us or reach out to us saying they are interested to know more or have a conversation about organising the workshop.
