Brief de Design de Logo

We need an updated logo based on our current design.

We need to keep the current basic design - the letters "GPC" surrounded by a "halo". However, we'd like to make it a bit more modern and visually interesting. Basically, we'd like to take what we have and make it far more memorable.

We also want to work with the colors. Our current logo is dark blue and black. We need to preserve blue as the primary color (we're open to trying some different shades of blue), but would like to try some different secondary colors that would allow for more contrast, while staying reasonably conservative.

We also need to keep our wordmark in the logo (Great Plains Communications) but are open to changing the layout, font, etc.

The design should communicate technology/communications.

Current logo is attached.
