Brief de Design de Logo
We require a logo for our new martial arts dojo (studio) located in Sydney CBD Australia.
A Quantum is the smallest unit of energy that is measurable. For our business it represents efficiency of movement, precision, refinement of energy and martial arts techniques. The martial art we teach is a mixture of jujitsu, judo, taekwondo, boxing and wrestling.
Our philosophies are mind, body and spirit. Self defence, self discipline, self development.
Our students will mostly be the city professional and business types. A very much corporate crowd.
We will be awarding 3 prizes.
Prize 1- $250
For the best development of a professional version of the logo idea in the attached document.
Prize 2- $250
Best unique logo suggestion.
Prize 3 - $100
Second best unique logo suggestion.
We will require a logo that is suitable in size/layout for the Profile Picture square in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc as well as Banner Version suitable for the top of a webpage and the Facebook Cover Photo space.
Colour palette - we favour strong vibrant primary colours and are keen for red and blue to be incorporated in the logo. The logo should also be suitable for black and white/greyscale use.

Thank you all for your submissions. At this stage we think we have enough ideas based on the atom/physics concept.
We would like more submissions based on martial concepts and/or the dragon theme.
In respect of the dragon/serpent theme we are after simple and bold design ideas which will easily scale yet are recognisable. The guide for this is the logo at www.northstarmartialarts.com.au - this is the logo of our parent dojo so it is a good example, however we obviously want something distinctive and sufficiently different.
Whatever is designed will need to be able to be embrodiered on polo shirts hence the need for simplicity and clarity and primary colours.
