I am a therapeutic Reflexologist with an established private clientele. I only do reflexology on feet, not on hands. I am transitioning from word-of-mouth referrals/marketing to a more professional business presence. I need to have a stylized professional logo created which will be used on business cards first. Later the logo will be used on a website, brochures, postcard mailers, tee-shirts and possibly other marketing materials (all of which I will need help for design at a later time).
The business name is Reflexology For Life. I have a tag line (Where Health for the body begins with the sole) which I would like to be incorporated into the logo:

The logo and colors should create a peaceful feeling of relaxation and should be attractive to both men and women. The logo should be soft looking, not hard edged looking- because this is a therapy which brings healing and peace. I like earthy tones- greens, browns, etc. but am not stuck on those colors as a “must have” and I am open to brighter colors if the feel of the logo creates peace. I do not like the color of purple or lavender so please do not use those colors. And I do not like cartoony looking drawings.
Note to designers: Some people do not know what reflexology is, so I tried to attach some stock photos and suggestions but the file will not attach. Please take a look at logo designs located on VistaPrint.com in the Reflexology section. There are only 3 which show true reflexology featuring a therapist and/or a foot being worked on. Stock photos online are okay but need to be true reflexology positions, not just foot massage and not just a picture of a foot.

This reason for the change back to the original: I am sharing via email the design submissions and I have encountered some comments from chiropractors and physicians who are opposed to the statement tag line versus the tag line which begins with 'where' (my business location). Also, it is a known fact that reflexologists do not diagnose, prescribe, treat nor cure - so the statement tag line puts me a bit at risk.
Some designers have asked what is Reflexology? Reflexology, viewed as both a natural and complementary therapy, is based on the premise that there are reflexes/trigger points located in the feet which mirror or correspond with all body parts. By applying specific techniques to the reflexes on the feet, the reflexologist can help the client relax. Once the body is relaxed, the techniques can help improve the flow of blood, nerve impulses and energy throughout the body, to activate the inner healing powers of the body so that it can begin to naturally restore itself to its own healthy balance. It is believed reflexology can be effective in helping to reduce the effects and or symptoms of stress, back pain, anxiety, migraines, infertility, lack of sleep, restlessness and other physiological changes in the body. The art of foot reflexology must not be confused with basic foot massage or body massage in general.
