Brief de Design Graphique
Imagine the college as the place where school leavers from Hogwarts prefer to continue their education.
A picture of the college, with a draft version of the coat of arms, is attached.
Objective: Create a graphic in the form of a coat of arms that gives the impression that the college has existed for hundreds of years.
This graphic, in its full form, will contain the words "www.playsthethyng.com" (see attached picture).
The college's mascot is a cow. The cow should appear somewhere in the graphic.
The favoured cognitive enhancer at the college is a red pill. A red pill should be shown in the graphic.
The favoured mode of transport at the college is bicycle. Something signifying a bicycle (such as a spoked wheel) should appear on the logo.
The college utilises the five Platonic solids (plus a sphere) as teaching/learning aids. So if representations of the Platonic solids can be built into the design, that would be good.
A keyhole should appear somewhere in the design.
The capital letters of the college's name are I and C. These letters should combine to form a logo within the main graphic (within a panel on the coat of arms?), that depict the letter "I" connected in some way to a graphic representation of an eye. A draft version of this logo is attached in which the letters I and C are combined with an eye above them.
Because the graphic will appear at different sizes in different media, it will need to exist in different versions that are suited to different contexts (so there could be simple versions and full versions, but all recognisably similar). The graphic as logo might, for instance, appear on headed notepaper, a paper bag, a sweatshirt, in a website banner, on a mug. It might sometimes be rendered in only one or two colours; at other times in full colour. The full size graphic will appear at the scale shown in the attached file.
Ideally, some of the elements that make up the coat of arms should be detachable from the coat of arms, yet still recognisable as elements of the coat of arms belonging to the Invysible College.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I haven't had the time recently, because of work commitments, to properly manage this design project. By extending the deadline I'll be able to give designers more time and feedback.

- It would be nice to have the words 'Collegium Invisibili' included in the design. It would be nice to have the 'IC' element in the centre of the design. The keyhole can be dropped if it is adding too much clutter. Colour and greyscale versions would be good.
