*****VERY IMPORTANT YOU READ ALL MY INSTRUCTIONS. I WILL BE VERY PICKY ABOUT YOU FOLLOWING THEM*****
So here is the deal. I have a line of silver rings that are really unique and they are all symbolic. I created this line of silver rings to inspire people and completely change the boring/mall type of rings that you can buy. My inspiration was my moms fight with cancer, so I expect nothing short of meaningful rings. Every one of my rings has a name, which represents a way of being, a way of being that can and is looking to be inspired! We are all looking for ways to improve ourselves and my rings serve as a reminder to do just that.
Having said that, here is my idea. If you look at my website, typeag.com, you will see my limited line of silver rings. If you have any vision, you will be able to see that my rings aren't your typical silverware. Well, now I am broadening my horizon and want to start an engagement/wedding ring line that is ALSO meaningful.
My idea for this landmark ring is something like this:
-Like every engagement/wedding ring, they have to pair together. Except these should be extraordinary compared to other rings. Typical E/W rings are a simple band (engagement ring) followed by a simple diamond band (wedding ring). Technically, you can wear them together, some people don't. Well, my idea is different. I want 2 rings that intertwine eachother. I want the first ring (engagement) to be able to stand alone and look amazing, BUT THEN, when the wedding ring comes, it fits like a puzzle piece to complete the ring. This is a really bad example, but just so you get the idea, imagine this:
The engagement ring being one pedal of a flower, and when worn with the wedding ring, it completes the entire flower. That is the gist. Here is a MAAAAAAAAJOR POINT!!!!!!!!! I want the band of the ring to be included in the design. If you dare send me a simple band with a diamond setting on top, I will simply send you a message saying 'DISQUALIFIED! YOU DIDN'T READ THE DIRECTIONS!'. My line needs to STAND OUT (!), not look like everything else.
********************Here are some starting directions of which way to go.....mind you, I am very open to different ideas as long as they are in the right context. Here is the context:
-This combo of rings will include 1 main diamond ring and 10 small diamonds.
-If you look at all my rings, they have a symbolic name. Its not a deal breaker, but would be really cool if the design meant something since it serves for an incredibly important moment.
-The engagement ring should be able to stand alone! The wedding ring should then complete the pattern
-I am open to 'open ended' designs (not necessary). This means that the band doesn't connect, but wraps. This eliminates sizing which is nice.
-This is my first E/W ring set so this HAS to define my style/direction. This will be a higher ended price ring though I absolutely do NOT want it to be overcomplicated. There is some magic to flat surfaces that reflect light. Therefore, I describe the complexity to be light to medium, definitely not highly complex.
-Though I will absolutely start doing W/E rings with dragons and crazy things like that, this first one needs to absolutely represent Love, togetherness, life, and spirit. Here are just some very quick ideas for direction (all need meanings/names): blossoming flower, angel, heart/s.....etc. Frankly, I don't know all those girly things, but there are a lot of different directions. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOUR CREATIVITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey. Just wanted to say a big thanks for taking on this project. I am writing this because I want to emphasize a couple points. #1, please remember this wedding/engagement ring is going to cost THOUSANDS of dollars. It is a 'luxury' item. Therefore, I want this ring to look rich and beautiful. It needs to have life to it. #2, remember I am looking for this to look different than any other wedding ring out. I have never seen a single wedding ring that isn't a simple band with a diamond pattern on top. NONE of them look like something like a flower, a heart, a snake, or a unicorn. Whatever symbolizes love to you. #3, if possible, please make the band of the ring part of the of the design. THANKS SO MUCH!! Looking forward to seeing your design.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Hey guys. I saw a LOT of interest from everyone at the beginning. I don't quite have enough designs to make a decision. I'm hoping it's just because of the timing, so I am extending the deadline by 14 days. Hope this helps :-)
