Brief de Design de Logo
We're looking for a fresh new logo to match our unique wedding film style. Our company produces wedding films with an emphasis on being modern and cinematic. Our business name (True Focus Films) has two meanings. First, that we're intently focused on providing our wedding couple with the best possible experience for their wedding day (ie providing great customer service, responding to calls/emails in a timely manner, delivering wedding films in a fun and creative packaging approach). Second, that our footage is technically and optically focused on-camera for a clear record of their wedding. We're a group of filmmakers who shoot on DSLR cameras that are passionate about capturing wedding couples naturally with lots of human emotion, so you'll see lots of close-ups, lots of smiles, lots of laughing, and hopefully an occasional teardrop of happiness! We've recently converted all our print documents and brochures to "Montreal" font, and we'd like Montreal font to be featured in the new logo. Our business colors are white and sky blue. Our current logo was created about 4 years ago when we were aiming for a more "elegant" appeal, but now we're looking for something a little bolder and cleaner looking. We don't want any cameras, camera gear, or film reels featured in our logo. I like how the "True Focus" and "FILMS" are separate and different typefaces. Here's a link to see one of our recent wedding recap films (a short 3-5 minute version of the wedding day) to give you a better idea of our style and approach to filmmaking: http://truefocusfilms.blogspot.com/2013/12/blue-ocean-music-hall-at-pavilion_24.html Thanks in advance!!
Updates
Hello designers! I'd like to make a minor change to my logo request. I know I originally said no camera gear in the logo design, but I think an abstract/artistic rendition of a camera lens aperture (the part of the lens that controls the amount of light entering the camera) might be a nice touch. It is circular, has a nice and clean repeating pattern, sort of looks like a wedding band/ring, and sort of looks like a flower petal. Here's a design I like (to give you an idea of what I'm talking about):

Please don't use this as is.... this design belongs to another company. But something along those lines. I'm open to having the iris on the left and the text on the right, or somehow putting the text (or parts of it) inside the center of the iris. I'd like to emphasize that we use "true focus" in smallcase and "FILMS" in allcaps. If the iris can be a gradient blue or have a two-tone blue color (lighter and darker), that would be really nice!
Thanks again for your hard work on this!
