Brief de Design de Logo

PlaceNet needs a new logo!

PlaceNet is a membership body, run by volunteers, for those that work in areas related to sandwich placements, internships and apprenticeships. The organisation's primary goal is to share best practice across the sector and provide a comfortable platform for people to do so i.e. events, on-line communities and localised meetings.

We have a membership of roughly 150 people; this includes University and College staff as well as some corporate partners. The membership is diverse and attracts all ages across the sector. We host an annual 3 day conference which attracts over 70 attendees. The event is known for its informal but informative approach to knowledge share and networking.

We are now looking to give our network a brand identity that reflects our mission and additionally helps us invest in our future as an organisation. We hope that in the near future we are able to attract more members from businesses, specifically those that recruit placement students and interns.

The brief for our logo is simple:
• it must include the organisation name Placenet
• it must appeal to both those in education as well as businesses

Our current website is here http://placenetuk.blogspot.co.uk/ . This should provide more information about us and what we do. It also displays an old logo that we have used for a number of years.
