Brief de Design Publicitaire

We’re Soup, a word of mouth marketing agency. We have a community of people who participate in projects that range from being sent free products to trying new services to road test. Pretty fun stuff!

We’re looking for a designer to create two EDM (electronic direct marketing) executions. These EDMs will be used as an email to get people to join and become a Soup member.

Previous examples of our EDMs are attached, but we’re looking for some fresh new design ideas! Look & feel to be fun, playful, easy on the eye. Most of all they need to be attention grabbing and motivating enough for the readers to click through and join (rather than scanning and deleting the email!).

The two executions we require will differ slightly in content and design. Copy that needs to be included in each of the EDMs is attached.


Specifically, version 1:
• Needs to include two event photos with their description below, similar to Pinterest (refer to copy document as a guide)
• Include a collage of recent product images (again, can see a guide in the copy document). Due to space restrictions you may only be able to fit one or two lines of a collage.
• Down the bottom is a quote from a member, we would like to see this stand out from the rest of the text.

And version 2:
• This will also have a collage of recent product images, but because this version has more space you can fit more images.
• This time there are two quotes from two different members.

The EDMs need to be:
• 550 pixels wide and 1000 pixels in height.
• JPEG

Bien d'avoir

• Whilst the background doesn’t need to be all yellow, and can be white, we’d like to have at least some yellow per branding. The yellow we use is 100% yellow.
