Trade Show Booth – Graphic Design Brief
- Garanti
Brief de Design Graphique
1. Project Overview
We need to create the complete artwork for a Faronics trade show booth consisting of:
* Left wall: Faronics Insight — Education / Classroom Management — Orange
* Right wall: Faronics Cloud — IT Management — Blue
* 42” TV: Mounted on one of the walls
* Counter: Front + two sides, with artwork that ties the entire booth together
The objective is to create a modern, premium, highly visible technology booth that communicates what Faronics does within a few seconds.
The two product areas should be clearly differentiated, but the booth must still feel like one unified Faronics environment, rather than two separate brands.
⸻
2. Booth Dimensions
There are two walls, positioned at 90° to one another.
LEFT WALL – Faronics Insight
300 cm W × 250 cm H
Product: Faronics Insight
Audience: Schools / Teachers / Education
Primary colour: Orange
RIGHT WALL – Faronics Cloud
300 cm W × 250 cm H
Product: Faronics Cloud
Audience: IT Managers / IT Teams / Organisations
Primary colour: Blue
Each 3-metre wall is physically divided into approximately three 100 cm-wide panels.
Please create each wall as one continuous 300 cm composition, but take the panel divisions into consideration.
Avoid placing:
* Logos directly over panel joins
* Headlines over panel joins
* Faces over panel joins
* QR codes over panel joins
* Important UI/product details over panel joins
Decorative elements and backgrounds can cross the joins.
⸻
3. Overall Creative Direction
The booth should feel:
* Modern
* Premium
* Clean
* Technology-focused
* Bright and inviting
* Sophisticated
* Visually impactful from a distance
* Consistent with the Faronics brand
We want to avoid the traditional trade-show approach of filling every available space with features, icons and text.
Think:
Large visual statement rather than a brochure enlarged onto a wall.
Use:
* Strong typography
* Large-scale imagery
* Generous whitespace
* Simple messaging
* Strong product colours
* Clear hierarchy
* Modern people/technology imagery where appropriate
* Product UI selectively, if it strengthens the composition
Avoid:
* Long paragraphs
* Large feature lists
* Too many icons
* Small screenshots
* Small text
* Excessive gradients/effects
* Overly busy backgrounds
* Generic “corporate IT” stock-art aesthetics
Someone walking past the booth should understand the basic message within approximately 3–5 seconds.
The hierarchy should broadly be:
Faronics → Product → Core Benefit → Supporting Visual
⸻
4. LEFT WALL – Faronics Insight
Product
Faronics Insight
Audience:
* Schools
* Teachers
* Educators
* Education IT teams
What Insight Does
Faronics Insight is classroom management software designed to help teachers manage students and their computers during lessons.
In simple terms, it allows teachers to:
* See student screens
* Monitor classroom computer activity
* Share the teacher’s screen
* Share student screens
* Block distracting websites and applications
* Blank screens when the teacher needs students’ attention
* Communicate directly with students
* Transfer files and learning materials
* Run quizzes and voting
* Assess student activity and engagement
The existing Insight materials organise the proposition around three particularly useful concepts:
CONTROL · COLLABORATE · ASSESS
The current brochure also positions Insight as “Classroom technology that enhances the learning experience.” InsightBrochure_PrintReady.pdf
What the Wall Should Communicate
Within seconds, the visitor should understand:
Education + Classroom + Technology + Teacher Control
This should visually feel like an education technology product, not a generic corporate IT product.
Visual Direction
Use Faronics Insight orange as the identifying colour.
Consider imagery involving:
* A modern classroom
* Teacher using technology
* Students using laptops/computers
* Classroom devices
* Insight interface
* Teacher/student interaction with technology
The imagery should feel contemporary and credible rather than like generic school stock photography.
The orange does not necessarily need to cover the entire wall. A lighter or neutral overall environment with strong orange brand elements may produce a more premium result.
Messaging
Keep messaging extremely concise.
Potential structure:
Faronics Insight
[Large benefit-oriented headline]
One short supporting sentence if necessary.
Possibly:
CONTROL · COLLABORATE · ASSESS
Do not reproduce all the features from the brochure on the wall.

5. RIGHT WALL – Faronics Cloud
Product
Faronics Cloud
Audience:
* IT Managers
* IT Administrators
* IT Departments
* Managed organisations
* Businesses
* Schools/universities
* Public-sector organisations
* Organisations managing multiple computers/endpoints
What Faronics Cloud Does
Faronics Cloud is a broader cloud-based IT and endpoint management platform.
In simple terms, it gives IT managers one central platform to manage, secure, update, support and monitor computers and devices across their organisation.
Existing Faronics Cloud materials position the platform around:
* Centralised management
* Reduced IT workload
* Endpoint security
* Device management
* Remote support
* Automation
* Cloud-first management A4 Tri-Fold Brochure for Faronics Cloud_cover.pdf
The platform includes capabilities such as:
* Deep Freeze on Cloud
* Patch management
* Software deployment
* Analytics
* Remote control
* Mobile device management
What the Wall Should Communicate
Within seconds, the visitor should understand:
IT Management + Devices + Security + Automation + Control
This should feel broader and more enterprise/IT-oriented than the Insight side.
Visual Direction
Use the Faronics Cloud blue identity.
Potential visual elements include:
* IT manager / IT administrator
* Multiple managed computers
* Different types of devices
* Faronics Cloud console
* Visual representation of centralised device management
* Cloud/device connections
* Modern office or IT environment
Avoid stereotypical server-room imagery unless it genuinely improves the composition.
The emphasis should be on making IT management feel simple, centralised and manageable.
Messaging
Again, keep copy extremely concise.
Potential structure:
Faronics Cloud
[Large benefit-oriented headline]
One short supporting statement if required.
The existing material uses the positioning:
“Everything your IT team needs. One cloud platform.” A4 Tri-Fold Brochure for Faronics Cloud_cover.pdf
This can be used as inspiration for the hierarchy and simplicity of the message.

6. Relationship Between the Two Walls
The two walls meet at a corner and therefore need to be designed together.
Conceptually:
INSIGHT / EDUCATION / ORANGE ← | CORNER | → FARONICS CLOUD / IT / BLUE
The visitor should immediately recognise two different solutions, but they must clearly belong to the same Faronics ecosystem.
Please use a common design system across both walls:
* Same typography
* Same grid
* Similar headline treatment
* Similar image treatment
* Similar spacing
* Common Faronics branding
* Related graphic language
The transition at the corner should feel deliberate.
A shared neutral/white foundation, subtle graphic elements or another visual device could help connect the orange and blue areas.
Avoid simply creating:
one orange advertisement + one blue advertisement
They should work together architecturally as one booth.
⸻
7. TV Integration
A 42” LED TV will be mounted on the booth wall.
Approximate dimensions:
95.2 cm W × 53.3 cm H
The screen is therefore almost exactly the width of one 100 cm booth panel.
The TV should be considered part of the composition from the beginning rather than treated as something added after the artwork is finished.
Please:
* Leave generous space around the TV
* Keep logos away from it
* Keep headlines away from it
* Do not position faces behind it
* Do not place important imagery behind it
* Do not place QR codes near/behind it
* Avoid visual clutter immediately around the screen
The screen will display Faronics/product content, so the surrounding graphic should frame and complement the screen rather than compete with it.
Please confirm the exact TV mounting position against the organiser’s final technical drawing before preparing the final print file.
⸻
8. Counter Artwork
We also need matching artwork for the booth’s lockable counter.
FRONT
93.4 cm W × 93.4 cm H
This is the most visible counter surface.
Keep this significantly simpler than the wall graphics.
Recommended approach:
* Faronics branding/logo prominently displayed
* Clean corporate treatment
* Minimal or no copy
* Visual connection between Insight orange and Faronics Cloud blue
The counter should act as the visual bridge between the two product areas.
It should not become a third advertisement competing with the walls.
⸻
LEFT SIDE
43.4 cm W × 93.4 cm H
Use a simplified continuation of the front design.
This side can subtly reference the Insight orange identity.
Avoid small copy.
⸻
RIGHT SIDE
43.4 cm W × 93.4 cm H
Use a simplified continuation of the front design.
This side can subtly reference the Faronics Cloud blue identity.
Avoid small copy.
⸻
9. Safe Areas & Practical Considerations
Remember that this artwork will be installed in a physical trade-show environment.
People, furniture and the counter will frequently obscure the lower areas.
Therefore:
* Keep key messaging primarily in the upper/middle sections
* Keep important logos visible above people/furniture
* Maintain generous internal margins
* Avoid critical information near floor level
* Avoid important elements directly against wall edges
* Avoid panel joins for important elements
* Account for the TV when establishing the composition
QR codes, if used, should be positioned where they can realistically be scanned without visitors needing to crouch or reach behind furniture.
⸻
10. Artwork Production Specifications
Please follow the organiser’s artwork requirements exactly.
Final File Formats
Print-ready artwork must be supplied as:
* AI
* PDF
* EPS
Do not supply JPG, PNG or CDR as final production artwork.
Artwork Setup
* Final size: 1:1 scale
* Minimum resolution: 150 dpi at final size
* No bleed
* All text converted to outlines
* High-resolution photography/images embedded
* Specify Pantone colours where required
* Ensure all required assets are embedded before export
⸻
11. Required Final Artwork
Please prepare separate production files for:
1. Faronics Insight – Left Wall
300 cm W × 250 cm H
2. Faronics Cloud – Right Wall
300 cm W × 250 cm H
3. Counter – Front
93.4 cm W × 93.4 cm H
4. Counter – Left Side
43.4 cm W × 93.4 cm H
5. Counter – Right Side
43.4 cm W × 93.4 cm H
Suggested naming:
* Faronics_Insight_Left_Wall_300x250cm.pdf
* Faronics_Cloud_Right_Wall_300x250cm.pdf
* Faronics_Counter_Front_93.4x93.4cm.pdf
* Faronics_Counter_Left_43.4x93.4cm.pdf
* Faronics_Counter_Right_43.4x93.4cm.pdf
Please also provide the editable source artwork and associated assets for our records.
⸻
12. Reference Material
Please refer to these resources before beginning the design:

Faronics Insight
https://faronicscloud.com/pages/insight
Also refer to the supplied:
* Faronics Cloud brochure
* Faronics Insight brochure
* Booth technical/dimension reference
* Counter dimension reference
The brochures should be used to understand the existing brand and product positioning, but the booth artwork should be considerably simpler, larger and more visually impactful than the brochures.
The final objective is a booth that can communicate:
INSIGHT = Technology for managing the classroom
FARONICS CLOUD = Technology for managing an organisation’s IT devices
