SarelaTech Brand Identity Redesign
- Garanti
Brief de Design de Logo
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Our current logos were designed in 2020 and have served us well. Since then, SarelaTech has grown and evolved, and we believe it is time to explore what our visual identity should look like for the next decade.
We want to reimagine the SarelaTech brand.
Our existing logos are provided for reference and brand history, not as templates for the new designs.
We are open to an evolution of our existing identity or something completely different.
Surprise us.
We would rather see an original idea that challenges our current identity than simply a modernized version of what we already have.
WHAT THE BRAND SHOULD FEEL LIKE
Modern. Confident. Trusted. Sophisticated. Mission-focused. Technical. Agile.
We want to look like a serious modern technology company that serves critical Government missions, not a stereotypical Government contractor or generic IT/cybersecurity company.
The identity should be clean, distinctive, scalable, and built to last.
CREATIVE FREEDOM
There is no required symbol or visual concept.
We are open to:
A distinctive identity built around Sarela or SarelaTech
Custom typography or letterforms
An original abstract symbol
A substantial reinterpretation of our existing identity
An entirely new direction we haven’t considered
We want something that can become recognizably SarelaTech rather than something that could belong to almost any technology company.
Avoid obvious or stock-looking Government, military, cybersecurity, and technology imagery.
COLOR
Our current identity uses blue and green, and we like the continuity those colors provide.
You may modernize the shades and how they are used. However, do not let our existing colors limit a great concept. We are open to a compelling alternative.
The identity must also reproduce effectively using solid colors and in monochrome.
If gradients or other color treatments are used in the primary identity, the design must also have an effective flat-color version suitable for embroidery, screen printing, engraving, and other applications where gradients cannot be reproduced.
THREE-LOGO FAMILY
We currently use three separate logos for different purposes, and we want to retain that approach.
The final identity should include three distinct logo designs/files:
Sarela Technology Solutions
Our formal corporate logo, primarily used for proposals, capability statements, corporate signage, briefing and presentation title slides, and other formal or Government-facing applications.
SarelaTech
Our general brand logo, primarily used for our website, digital applications, marketing, recruiting, employee communications, branded apparel, and promotional materials.
The SarelaTech logo should be capable of standing on its own as a wordmark and does not need to incorporate the graphic symbol used with the formal corporate logo.
STS
Our compact logo, primarily used for hats, polo shirt embroidery, jackets, quarter-zips, promotional products, social-media avatars, icons, and other small-format applications.
For the STS mark, designers may explore using color to reinforce the meaning of the initials:
S = Sarela
TS = Technology Solutions
For example, the S may use the primary Sarela color while TS uses the secondary brand color.
These should be designed as three separate, fully usable logos, not simply one logo shown at different sizes.
They do not need to have identical layouts or use the exact same graphic treatment. Each logo should be optimized for its intended application.
However, all three should clearly feel like members of the same SarelaTech brand family through thoughtful use of color, typography, design character, or other shared visual elements.
Three distinct logos. One recognizable SarelaTech identity.
The SarelaTech and STS logos must reproduce cleanly on embroidered apparel and other small-format applications.
Please show all three actual flat logo designs clearly, not only presentation mockups.
TAGLINE
Our external customer tagline is:
Your Mission Is Our Mission.
The tagline is optional and should not be permanently incorporated into any of the three core logos.
An optional tagline version or lockup may be provided.
WHAT WE WANT TO SEE
Give us an idea with a reason behind it.
We want to look at the winning identity and think:
“That’s SarelaTech.”
Not:
“That’s another technology company.”
And definitely not:
“That’s our old logo with a new font.”
Be original. Be thoughtful. And don’t be afraid to show us something we weren’t expecting.
