Brief de Design de Logo
Arborea Press is a new, queer, independent tabletop RPG publisher based in Maryland, founded by two designers with a shared love of tabletop gaming.
We're looking for a designer to develop a primary logo and supporting identity for the imprint. This is a company mark, not cover art, we want something that works pressed in foil on a hardcover spine, shrunk to a 32px favicon, and stamped on the last page of a book.
Deliverables:
Primary logo (Arborea Press wordmark + logo)
Standalone logo
Simplified single-color and reversed variants
Social avatar crop
Source files (AI, SVG, or equivalent vector) plus exported PNG/PDF at working sizes
A one-page usage sheet: clear space, minimum size, color values, do-nots
The name Arborea is a private homage: it's from the first campaign we played together, years before any of this was a company.
We're heavily inspired by folk art - cryptids, twisted branches, something that gives an eerie, otherworldly vibe. Not looking for a polished, professional, formal brand.
Things we'd rather avoid: dragons, swords, d20s, generic fantasy calligraphy, gradients, anything that reads as a stock "gaming brand." We're a press, not a guild.
You're free to ignore all of the above if you have a better idea. We'd rather see your thinking than a version of ours.
