fanfare — Brand Brief
https://fanfare.events/
What it is:
fanfare is a consumer ticket marketplace for live events — live music, comedy, theater, and more. Fans discover upcoming shows, buy tickets (with all-in pricing — no surprise fees at checkout), and manage everything from their phone: mobile QR tickets, transfers to friends, resale, waitlists for sold-out shows, and price-drop alerts on events they're tracking. It also connects to a fan's Spotify to recommend shows by the artists they actually listen to.
What makes it different:
- Fan-first and transparent — fees shown upfront, easy refunds, fair resale
- Personalized discovery — "because you like [artist]" recommendations
- Modern, mobile-native experience — tap to buy, Apple Pay / Google Pay, tickets that live in your pocket
Who it should attract:
Live-event fans, roughly 18–40 — music lovers, concert-goers, and culture seekers who follow their favorite artists and venues, go out regularly, and expect a slick, trustworthy, mobile-first experience. The brand should feel energetic and celebratory (the spirit of a crowd at a great show) while still reading as trustworthy enough to enter payment details.
Tone / personality:
Vibrant, social, and exciting — but premium and clean, not cheap or chaotic. Think "the buzz right before the lights go down."
Existing visual cues (for consistency):
The current app theme is "Amethyst Evening" — a deep purple as the primary brand color, paired with gold as a premium accent, on a dark, modern UI. The name "FanFare" plays on fanfare (a celebratory burst of sound announcing something big) and fan (the people who love the show). The current mark uses radiating arcs and a burst motif to suggest sound, celebration, and arrival. I have a rough idea attached but that does not need to be kept.
