Brief de Design de Logo

We do all sorts of computer repairs and building, we're also an MSP for local companies so we're looking a logo/design that looks good for both home and business client prospects. We have a current design that uses a purple as the accent colour but it's way too big to make it a logo with how long the text is. I'd like the logo to be within a shape of some kind (not a shield) with our acronym (ITSH) instead of the full name of the company (I.T. Southern Highlands). I'd like to keep purple as the accent colour but also would like it to work on a black/dark background as well as a white/lighter background.
