Brief de Design de Logo

CONTEXT
Client: Namur Dental Clinic
Location: Bouge, Namur, Belgium
Positioning: High-end dental practice offering both general and specialized care (implantology, microscopic endodontics, functional aesthetics, periodontology). Demanding clientele, premium medical and aesthetic approach.

MISSION
Refine the existing logo on two simultaneous levels:

Color evolution — update the current color palette
"N" monogram integration — subtly fuse the letter N into the composition

The overall style, fluidity and proportions of the existing logo must be preserved. This is not a redesign from scratch — it is a refinement.

EXISTING LOGO
The current logo consists of:

A stylized tooth with fluid organic curves, currently in chartreuse/lime green
A dental handpiece (turbine) represented as a diagonal arc/swoosh crossing through the tooth, currently in medium grey
A dynamic, light composition with expressive curves
A mirror reflection version exists (to be kept as a variant)


REQUESTED CHANGES
1. COLORS
Turbine (swoosh/arc):
Move from the current grey to a deep charcoal — dark anthracite, not pure black. Indicative reference: #2D2D2D to #3A3A3A. Should read as "very dark elegant grey", never as black.
Tooth:
Move from chartreuse green to a highly desaturated champagne gold — the goal is a warm, slightly metallic tone evoking precious ivory rather than yellow gold. Indicative references: #D4C5A0 / #C8B99A / #CBBFA0.
⚠️ Critical point on the gold tone: Avoid any "fake luxury" or loud gold effect at all costs. The shade must remain subtle, almost neutral — perceived as warm and noble without ever appearing ostentatious or cheap. When in doubt, always pull toward the more desaturated end.
2. "N" MONOGRAM INTEGRATION
The "N" of Namur must be organically integrated into the turbine element (the diagonal swoosh/arc).
Precise direction: The arc-turbine stroke should be subtly redrawn so that its two endpoints and its diagonal together implicitly form the letter N — a stylized N that a trained eye can recognize but that does not impose itself at first glance. The integration should be subliminal to semi-discreet: discovered, not forced.
The N must not appear as:

A superimposed monogram in the background
A separate letter added alongside the icon
A typographic element placed on top of the icon

It must be structurally built into the turbine stroke itself.

DELIVERABLES
Deliverable 1 — Icon only (primary use)

Logo icon with new colors and integrated N
Version on white/transparent background
Version with mirror floor reflection (as per the original)

Deliverable 2 — Wordmark "Namur Dental Clinic" (separate use)

Typography only, without the icon
Style: elegant serif or premium sans-serif — consistent with the high-end positioning
Designed to be used independently (document headers, email signatures, etc.)
Both elements (icon + wordmark) should be combinable but fully functional separately

File formats required:

Vector files: AI and/or SVG (mandatory)
High-resolution PNG on transparent background
PNG on white background


STYLE REFERENCES

High-end European medical practice
Elegant minimalism — no visual clutter
Visual codes: precision, purity, expertise
The gold should evoke Christofle silverware, not costume jewellery
The charcoal should evoke a surgical precision instrument


WHAT TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID

Bright yellow gold, shiny metallic gold, "shopping mall jewellery" effect
Pure black (too harsh, destroys the character of the existing logo)
Additional graphic elements not requested (red cross, stethoscope, etc.)
Altering the proportions or dynamics of the existing logo
An unreadable or forced N — if the N does not integrate naturally, do not impose it
