Design Instructions
Project Overview: Design three (3) coordinated textile patterns for 100% cotton kitchen towels.
Color Requirements (see attached palette)
• One shared color palette of 3–4 colors total.
• The same 3–4 colors must be used across all three towel designs.
• Each towel should apply the colors in different proportions, arrangements, or pattern treatments so that each design feels distinct while still cohesive as a set.
Design Requirements
• Create three unique pattern designs, not colorways of the same pattern.
• Patterns should be suitable for textile printing on kitchen towels (seamless, repeatable, production-ready).
• Designs should avoid overly intricate details that may not translate well to fabric printing.
Theme & Style Direction
• Design Theme: Coffee
• Target Audience: Women in the 40s to 50s
Deliverables
• 3 final textile pattern designs (one per towel) in pdf and AI format with a resolution of 300 DPI. The design artwork should be a flat layout (2D) plan.
• 1 tech pack per design (3 total tech packs). Tech pack template will be provided to designer; however, the design and color specifications with Pantone numbers must be included by designer.
