Brand-Name:
YOONYO is a start-up fashion brand in the streetluxe segment.
Mood/Feeling:
Quiet power, Cultural memory, Rooted yet forward-moving, Liminal, Timeless, Discoverable.
Color palette for the icon in the logo:
Primary use: monochrome (black or deep charcoal)
Secondary consideration: warm, natural tones — amber, grey-green, ochre turmeric, deep indigo.
Icon: The Y-Mark
This is a single geometric Y icon built entirely from multiple interlocking Y’s and fragments. Every Y holds another Y. The whole is made of the parts, and the parts build the whole (see example in picture).
Key Design Directions:
- Geometric, modern, and minimalist, yet intricate enough that the longer you look, the more Y’s you discover.
- Suggest movement, flow, and “in-between” spaces without being literal.
- Clean, precise lines with a subtle hand-crafted warmth (never cold or purely digital).
- Subtle and mysterious
- versatile: must work perfectly as a small woven/embroidered tag, a large chest print, a digital avatar, or a single mark on dark fabric.
Deliverables
- Primary Y-Mark icon (vector, black & white versions, alternatively with highlights using above color palette)
- YOONYO text variations (black & white) as one-liner and two-liner with three letters in eaxh line)
- horizontal/vertical lockups with “YOONYO”
- Small-scale and large-scale versions
- Files should work on print, web and clothes for DTF & DTG Print, as well as embroidery.
What to Avoid
- Literal illustrations (hands, flowers, maps, faces, globes)
- Overly commercial or luxury fashion clichés
- Heavy gradients or 3D effects
- Anything that feels like it belongs to one specific culture — it must feel universal
