Brief de Design de Flyer
The logo files I will include were named "capital region handymen" by the digital artist. However, my company is called Capital Region Homeservice (That was not a typo. There is no space between "home" and "service") If you'd like to experiment with color modification of the logo to make it fit better with designs you come up with, please be my guest.
I need a 6"x12" flier design to market my deck construction business. The expected goal is to get phone calls and book appointments for the upcoming Spring 2026 construction season. The call to action being something along the lines of "Call now; Appointments are going fast!"
My target audience is upper middle class (annual household income $100,000 - $200,000) families of 3-5 in the capital region of New York state, US. Houses are most commonly either vinyl sided, or sometimes a combination of vinyl siding and brick. The ideal flier design will feature this type of house. Also most houses in my target area have nice lawns with mulched gardens as well.
I prefer designs with more sweeping, gradual curves than sharp square edges and corners, though some squares and corners are ok. I like designs with pallets consisting of blue, red, green, black, gray. I do not like purple, pink, yellow, or orange.
If it's possible and will fit, it would be nice to have images of pressure treated lumber, western cedar decking, and composite decking, so that customers understand I can provide any of the three. Also listing them out would be great.
I prefer designs that are more visual than text-based. On at least one side the dominant element should be a visual of a large composite or cedar deck. An image somewhere - wherever it can fit - of a small (10'x14' or so), basic deck of pressure treated lumber would be ideal as well so that potential clients know I will build those. Also I would like some element, on either side, that creates a sense of urgency by drawing the eye to text along the lines of "2026 appointments are filling fast. Book your free consultation today!"
Selling points:
- Veteran owned and operated
- Hometown feel
- Personal service
- Satisfaction guaranteed
I will use the United States Post Office's "Every Door Direct Mail" (EDDM) service to deliver these, so on either the front or back there should be a small amount of reserved space in the top right corner for the USPS's required markings (see https://www.footbridgemarketing.com/products/electrician-repair-eddm-postcard?variant=42948642643 for an example of the amount of space required). It's ok if there is imagery there and it gets covered up by the USPS markings, it just shouldn't be anything important. You do not have to include the USPS markings themselves. My print guy will do that when I pass him this design.
A final note on this; I've mentioned Spring 2026 several times. But I do not want the design to be relevant only for Spring. I'd like to use the design throughout the year so please no hard references to Spring that will make the flier seem out of place in the fall.
Thank you very much. I appreciate your time.
