Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a custom home/general contractor company based in the Boulder Colorado area. The company name is "Helm Builders" (like the helm of a ship) We are a small 2 employee, well organized, boutique builder and want to showcase our expertise in a clean and simple, yet creative design. No crest type logo designs. We want it to come off professional and luxury, but also stay true to the colorado roots and not super edgy or formal.
