Brief de Design Graphique

We are a technology company focusing on software and managed services. We are seeking creative concepts for a large-scale, three-dimensional art installation to be suspended in the atrium of our new technology-focused headquarters. This artwork will be a signature architectural feature, combining modern materials, light, and technology-inspired design.

Overall Concept

The installation should consist of multiple suspended acrylic panels, edge-lit to create dramatic illumination through etched, monochromatic designs. When lit, the etching should glow brightly and clearly, producing a visually striking effect from multiple viewpoints within the atrium.

Materials & Lighting

Panels should be made from clear or lightly tinted acrylic

Each panel will be edge-lit with a single color (colors may vary between panels)

Etched designs must be monochromatic, relying on light and contrast for impact

Maximum acrylic panel length: 10 feet

Design Language

As a technology firm, we want the artwork to reflect a modern, tech-inspired aesthetic. Possible (but not required) design directions include:

Binary or data-inspired patterns (e.g., 0s and 1s, ASCII-style characters)

Abstract representations of technology, information flow, or digital structure

Repeating or evolving motifs across panels, or distinct designs per panel

Designers are encouraged to be creative while keeping the overall look clean, contemporary, and sophisticated.

Form & Structure

Minimum of four (4) acrylic panels

Panels will be suspended vertically using aircraft cable

Panel sizes may vary for visual interest (preferred but not required)

Optional concept: a single angled or oblique acrylic panel intersecting the vertical panels to add structural stability and visual depth

Clear visualization of panel layout, lighting effects, and etched patterns

Designs that feel innovative, refined, and appropriate for a corporate tech environment

Renderings, sketches, and clear explanations of your design intent are encouraged. We’re excited to see creative interpretations that transform light, acrylic, and technology into a memorable atrium centerpiece.
