Brief de Design Graphique
Design Brief – Logan Brae Orchard Enamel Mug
Overall vibe
Vintage mountain-camp style, similar to Bradley Mountain / United By Blue enamel mugs. It should feel like a keepsake from a mountain escape and tie clearly back to Logan Brae Orchard.
Illustration concept
Cliff-top view looking out over the Blue Mountains escarpment
Simple line / block illustration, not too detailed
In the foreground: apple tree branches with a few apples and leaves framing the scene
In the background: layered mountain ranges / cliffs and sky, maybe a hint of the valley
Text
Main phrase: “ESCAPE TO THE MOUNTAINS”
Brand line underneath: “LOGAN BRAE ORCHARD”
Typography & logo
Please use the existing Logan Brae script font/logo as the hero.
“Logan Brae” in the script, with a small “ORCHARD” tag or banner (like my existing logo version).
“ESCAPE TO THE MOUNTAINS” can be in a clean, all-caps sans serif that matches the outdoorsy / heritage feel, arched above the illustration.
Layout idea
Front of mug (main panel):
Top arc: “ESCAPE TO THE MOUNTAINS”
Centre: mountain + apple-branch illustration
Bottom: “Logan Brae Orchard” using the Logan Brae script, with “ORCHARD” in a small badge or banner.
Colour direction
Cream for the mugs but I will need a colour for the cotton shopping bags. Maybe gold or green
Mug base could be a solid earthy colour (for example: warm mustard or soft green) with the artwork in 1–2 contrast colours plus white.
Please keep it feeling vintage, not too bright.
Print & files
Enamel camping mug, standard size.
Artwork set up for screen print or enamel print as required by the supplier.
Final files: vector (AI/EPS/PDF) plus a flat mock-up showing placement on the mug.
I’ve attached our Logan Brae Orchard logo files and a couple of inspo images for style and the view from the orchard (Iconic cliff outline). Please use the Logan Brae script as the main logo and come back with 2–3 layout options based on this brief.
