Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new company called “HighMark Capital”.

Despite the name, we are not currently a finance or investment firm. HighMark Capital is a software design and development company that builds and operates bespoke software systems for businesses. However, we’d like the brand to be strong and flexible enough to extend into capital/investment activities in the future.

For the logo, we want it to feel premium, high-end, and timeless – almost like a luxury brand or top-tier investment house – but still clearly suitable for a modern tech/software company. My business partner prefers classic, “expensive”-looking logos with an icon and elegant serif typography.

Icon direction (important):
We would now like designers to focus on a logo that combines both a stag/deer and a lion in a single, cohesive emblem. This could be, for example, a mirrored/symmetrical composition (stag on one side, lion on the other), a crest-style mark, or another integrated concept that feels balanced and intentional. The overall feel should be powerful, elegant, and premium – not aggressive or cartoonish. We’re not looking for copies of existing logos; we want to see unique, original interpretations of the stag + lion combination. Exceptionally strong concepts that feature only one of the animals may still be considered, but our main direction is to incorporate both.

Style preferences:

High-class, sophisticated, and professional

Icon + wordmark preferred, but a very strong wordmark alone could work

Avoid anything childish, overly playful, rustic/outdoorsy, or too flat/generic/“startup-y”

Please avoid obvious finance symbols (dollar signs, stock charts, etc.)

Color preferences:
We like deep navy/dark blue with gold accents to convey trust, stability and a premium feel, but we are open to variations within that palette and to other colours that pair well with gold.

The logo will be used on our website, proposals, pitch decks and business cards, so it should scale well and work on both light and dark backgrounds.
