Brief de Design de Logo

We are a high-end construction firm in the dynamic market of Western North Carolina, USA focused primarily on luxury residential new construction and renovations, with a secondary focus on light commercial development. We are building a new website and want to update the brand identity. The logo will be used on the website, jobsite signage, company swag like hats and shirts, as well as on our business cards and stationery. The font that is used should be modern in styling giving the feelings of masculine, strong, well-built, and dependable, along with precision and accuracy. The final design will need to identify the font used so that we can use this font on other corporate identity pieces. A natural, and earthy palette of colors will be appropriate for our mountain-area based construction company. Black and gray are appropriate, but we wouldn’t mind seeing options in colors. The logo should use dark lettering that will work on light backgrounds and atop imagery. We would also like a reversed-out version of the logo for use on dark backgrounds. We would like minimal iconography with the logo, perhaps styling the two B’s in our company name. However, we would like the logo to have two looks 1)where the words alone could be used as the logo (without the BB icon) and 2) the words and a graphic with the two B’s in our name . I am attaching several examples of logos we clipped because we liked them, direct competitor logos, and a rough draft of a logo with intertwined Bs in the shape of a diamond. Please use these as inspiration.

Our firm specializes in the development of complex residential lots requiring creative structural plans to build in the harsh, mountainside environment. Building in this environment is more complex than standard construction and requires such an expertise. Our ideal client has a two million dollar plus, all-in budget for the design and construction of their new, custom home.
