Brief de Design de Logo

Rossi Floor Technologies is a pre-existing business that has not really used a logo in the past. We are a distributor of hardwood floor sanding, staining, and refinishing products. We also sell janitorial floor machines. We repair equipment. And we have a team that does restoration of marble, terrazzo, and concrete floors. I am not looking to use the logo in some big branding/marketing campaign... more just looking for something fun/catchy to put on shirts and hats to be worn around the store/office or out on jobs. Our business is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Given the name of the business is an Italian last name (Rossi), and given the fact that people of Italian descent are often associated with floor installation and work, and finally given that there are a large amount of people of Italian descent in Pittsburgh, PA, I thought maybe playing up to those factors might be cool. Think colors of the Italian flag (Red, White, and Green). Also anything that incorporates being Italian/American or incorporation of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania could be cool too, but does not need to incorporate all of those things, just spitballing some starting point ideas for you guys. I don't have anything specific in mind, and could go a number of different ways with the logo. Again, not looking for a "stately" corporate type of logo, but something more fun and approachable.
