Brief de Design de Tatouage

Style and Tone:
Black and grey realism with strong contrast and natural depth. The entire sleeve should flow as one story that feels dark, emotional, and beautiful but ends with renewal and strength.
The figures should not have visible faces. Emotion should come from their pose, body language, and light. Every section needs to transition smoothly upward, showing growth through struggle.

1. Wrist and Lower Forearm – Roots and Chains

Tree roots break through cracked stone and wrap around heavy, rusted chains.
Some chain links are broken, while others stay tight to show an ongoing fight.
Glowing embers sit beneath the roots with thin smoke drifting upward. It should look like something that once burned but still carries heat.
Add plenty of texture and depth in the bark, stone, and metal.
A small new sprout or root tip can appear among the ash as a quiet sign of rebirth.

Meaning: Fighting from the ground up. Strength that is earned, not given.

2. Mid Forearm to Inner Arm – The Transformation

The roots twist and rise, turning into the trunk of a large tree.
The bark begins to take on human shapes, forming the bodies of a man and a woman.
Their faces are hidden by shadows, hair, or bark texture. They are locked in an intimate embrace that feels emotional but not romanticized.
The woman’s arm reaches behind the man, holding a dagger close to his back. The blade should be visible but not exaggerated.
The transition from roots to tree to human should feel completely natural and smooth.

Meaning: Love and vulnerability born from pain. Creation and destruction coexisting.

3. Upper Arm and Outer Bicep – Betrayal and Decay

Around the figures, the tree branches start to break apart.
Leaves begin to decay and fall. Some stay intact, others crumble and fade.
Ash from below can reappear here as falling debris to connect the top and bottom of the piece.
Lighting should darken in this area with heavier shadows and sharper contrast.

Meaning: The beauty of trust meeting loss. Things fall apart so growth can happen again.

4. Shoulder and Upper Arm Cap – Renewal and Time

At the top, the tree branches spread out across the shoulder.
New buds and young leaves appear among the decay, showing slow but certain renewal.
Soft light filters through the branches, like early morning light or a calm sunrise.
Faint elements of time appear here, such as a cracked clock face, worn Roman numerals, or faded gears half-blended into the bark or smoke.
