Company Overview
Mudpuppy is a new custom apparel brand based in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. We create high-quality, quirky, and fun t-shirts that play on the oddities and familiarities of the region.
Bluffton, SC — our hometown — embodies Southern charm, hospitality, and a laid-back lifestyle. The area is known for its outdoor life, abundant wildlife (alligators, possums, armadillos, dolphins, birds, etc.), as well as golf, sailing, shrimping, and oyster roasts. Bluffton’s slogan is “State of Mind” — reflecting the warm, relaxed culture we want our brand to capture.
The Brand
· Name: Mudpuppy (a playful nickname for an alligator)
Target Audience
· Locals who want fun, high-quality, locally inspired apparel
· Tourists and locals seeking unique gifts with a Bluffton/Lowcountry flavor
· Initially focused on Bluffton, but expanding later to other Lowcountry towns (Beaufort, Charleston, etc.)
· Products will be sold in higher-end local boutiques and online

Logo Design Goals
· Must include an alligator as a central element (reflecting the Mudpuppy name)
· Two versions required:
1. Full version (logo + brand name)
2. Icon version (just the alligator graphic, for tags/standalone use)
· Style: Clean, fun, and high-quality (not overly busy)
· Versatile for multiple uses: online, print advertising, and apparel printing
· Color: Maximum of 3 colors; also provide options in black & white
· Deliverables: PNG, JPG, Vector format, transparent background versions
· Resolution should be adequate to accommodate the different print types that it will be used on (i.e. ideally 300 DPI for printing on shirts)
