Brief de Design Graphique

The story follows a wealthy Southern Family who don't really like each other, but are forced to behave and get along for the sake of collecting their respective inheritances.

"Family is supposedly the people that takes you in. But in Cordelléone, Louisiana the ludicrously rich, wealthy and powerful Thoreaux Family will take you down, take you out, and take over all without even standing up to disrupt brunch. However, when tragedy strikes swiftly, the powerful clan is thrown into orchestrated chaos and a labyrinth of first world rich people problems. The death of Benjamin “Papa Benji” Thoreaux brings family members back to Louisiana from far and wide thus setting in motion a chain of events that has every Thoreaux running to the bank and ducking for cover as power plays are made and a grand coup d’état is underway. "

• Black background. White Moon in the sky. ⦁ Gold Stately Louisiana Mansion silhouetted in the background. The black silhouette of a dead body on the ground near the top of the mansion stairs with bright red blood trailing down the mansion's stairs. ⦁ The large French doors of the mansion should be open and dark so that the body, letter opener and chandelier don't fade into the background. The body should be outlined in white so that it doesn’t fade as well. Sticking out of the body should be a gold letter opener with a diamond finial sticking out of the body. The diamond final should glisten. In the open doorway should be a massive hanging golden chandelier ⦁ Multiple (8 pairs of) eyes looking out the windows at the body. The windows should be dark with golden panes. ⦁ In cursive gold French Script, in the blood at the bottom of the stairs should be the title, "Thicker Than Water". The subtitle and pseudonym can be written in blockier Serif style. My pseudonym in A. Listor, so that should be under the title close to the bottom edge. Right Above my pseudonym would be the subtitle “A Thoreaux Family Novel”

• I'm hoping it's a snarky, fun poolside read. I'm really looking for the cover to look like a fashion illustration, so Megan Hess' work would be a big inspiration. (Maybe look at Candace Bushnell's covers since she did those.)
