The heritage Australian brand - EEZY™ Fabric Combs have been sold to households worldwide (but mostly Australia) for over 40 years.
It was invented in Sydney in 1970, and since then many imitations are in the marketplace have copied it exactly. (colour, print colour) In fact, EEZY™ comb is a generic word for a fabric comb in the marketplace.
Our EEZY™ Fabric Comb will be a world first 100% recycled product that will be a different colour - Hex #606f61 or RGB 9611197, or as per Colorbond steel colour Wildnerness.
We need it to be differentiated from the "old" blue plastic to the new "green". sustainable product.
We need a design that is modern, yet retro/traditional, that takes us into a new era.
It sits with our other tool - the Super EEZY™ Fabric Comb that is already sustainably produced. (wooden handle, brass teeth, Australian steel)
Both combs are locally produced in Melbourne, Australia.
We need this for a calico bag that has 2 sizes.
Small: 110mm x 90mm (fits the small EEZY™)
Large: 250mm x 300mm - also has smaller inner pocket 100mm x 70mm to hold BOTH combs, seperately so they don't blunt the brass teeth.
The back of each of these bags has the Instructions on it, as well as logos - Australian Made etc.
We also need Card Packaging designed for each of the Combs.
We have trademarked the EEZY™ logo and use the font Flash Bold.
We will want to add gift boxing later, so ideally the design can be easily transferred across different packaging options.
The final design should communicate heritage, honesty, stability, and integrity. (Think of Marvis toothpaste, Maille mustard, Burstenhaus Redecker is our aspirational competitor)
Updates
Also lean towards simple and bold design. In the original brief, I mention Mavis Toothpaste. Not in a design sense, but in the modern yet tradtional packaging. The EEZY™ Comb is such a simple tool, that I think a colourblock or simple bold design would align. KISS principle.
