Singularity Point, Second Edition

Hi
, I hope you're all well. I have a question. I previously worked on another contest of yours called Beyond Centauri Sci. You requested that the design be specific to an illustration and an illustrator from the 1970s participate, and you chose the winner who created something completely different from what you requested.
My question this time is, should we maintain the visual style of the cover you attached or can we create different styles? I'm asking to know how you approach the style and design for this contest. Thank you.
Looking for the same general style as the original, identical with respect to text and fonts. However, the artwork can vary a bit. Go by the brief first, but if there is something you want to try, go ahead and submit it and I'll let you know if it is something to be refined or pursued further or not. Thanks!
Added an image of Saturn in the background over a horizon to show the orientation of Saturn I'm looking for in cover pictures.
Added a couple sample images of Mars as seen from space for the back cover, for submissions not using a full wrap around cover.
Hi, thanks for responding. Just one last question: What is the subtitle? There's the source to use and suggestions, but not the name of the subtitle. Thanks.
The titles / subtitles should look just like the sample cover. Below the main title, between Singularity Point and Concordium I, the words 'Second Edition' should be added in the same color as the main title, but the same font and size as 'Concordium I'
To all designers: I deleted the picture with the back cover text because I am planning to change it slightly. I will repost the new back cover text shortly.
To all designers: Back cover text has been updated.
