Brief de Design Emballage

CHRISTMAS CANDLE BOX FRONT DESIGN BRIEF
Scope: Design the front panel artwork for five (5) Christmas candle boxes

Box Specifications
Front Panel Size: 137 mm (H) x 103 mm (W)
Sides of Boxes: Solid coloured (specific colour listed for each candle below)
Print Method: Boxes will be professionally printed this year (example of our current sticker-style box attached for reference)

Artwork Requirements
Style: Digitally hand-drawn illustrations – no Canva-style or template-based designs
Artwork must feel original, artistic, and premium with strong Christmas appeal
The overall aesthetic should be elevated, boutique and festive – avoid anything overly cartoonish or cliché
The Scent Society Australia logo must be centred on the front panel and can be colour-adjusted to complement the artwork

Each design must include the following text at the bottom of the front panel (we currently use the font monserrat - something clean is fine).

Final artwork must be print-ready, CMYK, high-resolution. Gold foil print is available if you think something would look nice in gold foil

Candle Designs
1. Christmas Day (Hero candle of the collection)
Scent: Sweet Plum, Nutmeg & Blackcurrant
Box Side Colour: Red
Visual Direction: A warm, inviting festive scene – think pine branches, cloves, berries, mulled drinks, and holiday gatherings. Imagine what Christmas Day feels like for you and just go with that! it could even be presented like a gift.

2. The Nutcracker
Scent: Baked Gingerbread
Box Side Colour: Gold
Visual Direction: Cosy and nostalgic – gingerbread cookies, a nutcracker figurine, ribbon, spice, and comforting kitchen warmth.

3. Candycane Lane
Scent: Peppermint Candycane
Box Side Colour: White (or white with red stripes at a 45° angle)
Visual Direction: Crisp and whimsical – candycanes, frosted peppermint swirls, snowflakes, and a magical holiday street feel. Playful, but still clean and elegant.

4. O Christmas Tree
Scent: Fresh Pine
Box Side Colour: Green
Visual Direction: Forest-inspired – snow-covered trees, pine needles, a calm winter woodland vibe. Subtle nods to ornaments or Christmas trees welcome.

5. Comfort and Joy
Scent: Berries and Spiced Apple
Box Side Colour: Deep burgundy
Visual Direction: Warm and cosy – cinnamon sticks, apples, mistletoe, berries, and glowing candlelight. Think comforting and festive.

CONTINUITY between each design would be nice so they look great sitting beside each other.
