Project Overview
We’re designing a custom branded welcome box to be sent to new full-time employees when they accept a role at our company. This box should provide a memorable and exciting unboxing experience that reflects our company’s spirit—adventurous, hands-on, and outdoorsy, while remaining professional and refined.
The box will contain premium branded items: a YETI tumbler, a Leatherman multi-tool, and an Owala water bottle—symbols of durability, utility, and outdoor spirit. Supporting items include a pen, pencil, branded mug, and a scenic double-sided postcard with a personal welcome message. The packaging must tell a cohesive brand story from the moment it’s received through to the final item revealed.

• These elements should form a collage or pattern that’s modern, energetic, and clean.
Style
• Elevated cartoon: Simple forms with dynamic hand-drawn lines
• Minimal shading but enough texture to give visual interest
• Think stylized, but not childlike
Color Palette
• Cool, fresh monochromatic blues:
o Navy, cobalt, sky, soft gray-blue
• White/neutral tones as accents for depth and contrast
Text Requirements
• Top center text (exterior lid):
“Get ready to start the adventure of a lifetime.”
o Font should be bold, dynamic, and youthful without being too trendy
• Shipping label space:
Leave a 4" x 6" clear area on one side flap, clean and unobstructed
• The exterior should be simple enough for mailing, while still exciting and engaging for the recipient

• An immersive, narrative-driven scene blending construction and nature:
• Foreground: Two workers in branded safety gear (one female, one male)
• Middle-ground: A construction site (trackhoe, dirt, jobsite trailer, wastewater treatment plant structures, such as clarifiers or equalization tanks)
• Background: Flowing river, green trees, mountains, and expansive sky
• This scene should convey belonging, purpose, and excitement.
Style
• Stylized yet realistic illustration
• More dimensional than the exterior with atmospheric depth and layered perspective
• Should feel warm and welcoming, with visual storytelling leading the eye inward
Color Palette
• Full color: rich blues, natural greens, warm browns
• White and light accents for balance and openness
Text Requirements
• Inside lid message (left-aligned, staggered):
