Although this is good design I prefer more classic cartoonish for the word 'Tallboys' but block letter for barbershop

If you google Tallboys barbershop in UK that's a Tallboys font I like. (Tallboys written on building is the image I'm referring to)

The L's in the logo you presented looks more like an X .
It reads like Taxboys on first glance
Maybe a head cartoon of a cartoon boy with arms leaning above the two L's
Not sure if I'm getting my vision across
