Brief de Design de Logo

Sippican Woman's Club (SWC) is a 100 year old club in Marion MA. It's mission is all about building friendships, sharing knowledge, and helping others. The club is based out of a historic building, "Handy's Tavern" built in 1812 and a sketch of the Tavern is the current logo. Though the club treasures it's own history and that of the Tavern, it is looking to create a new logo that is more representative of it's mission with a focus on it's nature of being a woman's club. The logo needs to be crisp, direct, easily reproduced for letterhead, media and merchandise. Marion is a seaside village and club is not opposed to a nautical element if simple, but not a must. Attached is the existing logo that we want to replace. www.sippicanwomansclub.org
New logo should use color. Some colors we prefer include coral and sea foam blue, but rely on designers for which colors print best and go best together, ideally a two-toned logo. There's a logo design a member made but would like to see a circle around it or two possibly, could be in a rope design.

also would like to see options with a hat/head combo to consider, also maybe "est. 1904" if it fits
