Brief de Design de Logo

We are seeking a unique and professional logo design for a new whisky shop called “The Dusty Bottle”, with the sub-heading “whisky merchants.” The aesthetic should evoke a sense of history and authenticity, aligning with vintage or heritage-inspired design. However, while we want vintage influence, we are not looking for something overly cliché or predictable. This is not just another serif font with a grainy overlay—we’re looking for something that stands out and feels thoughtfully crafted.

The word “The” should be subtle in the overall hierarchy—present but not dominant. The main focus should be on “Dusty Bottle,” which is the core of the brand. The sub-heading “whisky merchants” should be incorporated in a tasteful, perhaps slightly more understated way, but still very legible.

We would like the logo to have a framed element—whether that be a full border, a partial outline, or an illustrative motif that wraps or intersects with the text. The frame could reference vintage signage, whisky labels, or old emblems. It can overlap or interact with the typography creatively.

Design Notes:

While vintage inspiration is encouraged, we are looking for originality and detail. Think beyond basic templates or simple arrangements.

Typography should be carefully considered—perhaps a custom logotype, or at least a type treatment that feels characterful and intentional.

Texture, flourishes, or illustrative elements are welcome, but must serve the overall design, not clutter it.

We’re open on color palette, and would like to see suggestions. Earthy tones, classic golds, deep greens or burgundy, or even something surprising could work—please use your creativity here.

Goal: The final logo should feel special, memorable, and ownable—something we couldn’t easily replicate ourselves using Canva or another off-the-shelf design tool. We're looking for artistry and distinction.
