Brief de Design Étiquette

Hi, we are looking at re-vamping our 250g label. This is our main label, which covers 70% of our stock. It is overprinted on a thermal printer, it is used for jam, chutney, relish, marmalades etc. We would like to keep it similar so it's recognisable but feel like it could be better.

We require more space to fit the ingredients and a space to print the Best Before date. We do print a barcode on the label so require a space where artwork will not interfere with scanning.

Can the label be reduced to 208mm as it currently overlaps. The width of the band that wraps around the label is currently 4cm. This could go to a maximum of 5 cm. Our preference is to be approx 4.5cm. We would like to keep the security seal tab.

I've attached our current artwork. I'm hoping to see a few options based on this artwork.
Option 1. Please add an additional burgandy band around the base of the label (instead of the black line)
Option 2. More shadowing of the burgundy.
Option 3. Replace stripe background with logo background (as per 300g label sample attached)
Option 4: Your creative input

I would also like to see samples based of our 300g label, see attached. The dimensions need to be the same as the 250g label but lets see what it looks like in black.
