Brief de Design de Logo

Hello - looking for a thumbnail logo for a podcast dealing with the issues of personal finance, economics, and public policy. One sample of an existing podcast with similar topics is attached to show roughly the style and feel of the podcast content - casual, direct, creative, yet professional.

The creative element I am looking for is a good graphic that morphs the US Capitol Dome into a podcast mic. I attached 2 logos that prominently feature a mic as examples of creative ways to blend the large conical "podcast" microphone into a unique image. I imagine at the bottom of the 'mic" graphic it will most resemble the building's dome or rotunda, then appear more like a mic, then at the top is the statute we are familiar with. The dome can be larger in scale, or taller, than usual to avoid it looking "stubby" and giving it more of a mic appearance.
