Brief de Design de Logo

Logo Design Brief

Background

Logo required for newly created sports business. Aim of the business is to increase participation in a relatively unknown sport called "Floorball".


Target Audience

Target market will primarily be the general public who are interested in playing sport and may join the sport.


Use

Logo will be used in the same manner as a sports team/club logo as well as a logo for the business so it needs to be professional.

The colours of the logo will also be used as the brand colours eg. colours of sports jerseys and employee uniforms, the colours of the website and business card etc.


Requirements

Logo should clearly communicate that Floorball is the sport. Please incorporate something unique to Floorball in the logo. Floorball sticks and balls are quite unique so they should be considered, particularly the ball.

Logo should be able to be used in multiple capacities (eg website, brochures, screenprinted on sports shirts, embroidered on employee uniforms). It must be recognisable across all mediums which it is to be used.

Logo should incorporate some feel, item, or theme that can be related to the word "Unlimited" through any means which the designer can conceive and the audience/general public can see the connection. It can be through the letter “U” or through tangentially related motifs/symbols such as the infinity symbol etc.

The business name “Floorball Unlimited” does not necessarily have to be located in the conceptual part of logo itself, it can placed beside it/around it. The business/brand should also be identifiable via the logo alone without any text.


Colours

Open to considering all colour combinations but as a guide the logo should probably be limited to two or three colours. Currently thinking pink, sky blue and a neutral colour (black or white) but open to other ideas. The logo should also be recognisable in a purely black and white format.

The colours of the logo will also be used as the brand colours eg. colours of sports jerseys and employee uniforms, the colours of the website and business card etc.


Ideas

I have uploaded some ideas of my own as well as some other floorball logos for inspiration. Currently, leaning towards a floorball in the curve of the letter “U”.
