Avenues Childcare is a trusted provider of early childhood education and care services. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Our centres offer a range of programs tailored to different age groups, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, safety, and community engagement.


Project Overview:

We are looking for a talented designer to refresh our existing website (https://avenueschildcare.com.au/).

The primary goal is to modernize the design while keeping the content unchanged. The new design should be user-friendly, visually appealing, and reflective of our brand’s values. The website should share a similar "DNA" with our sister company’s website, Little Lane Early Learning, (https://littlelaneelc.com.au/) but it should not be a direct copy.

We want a design that mirrors our brand's shared values while introducing unique elements that distinguish Avenues Childcare.

Design Style and Inspiration:
• The design should align with the "DNA" of Little Lane Early Learning, but also bring in unique design elements to set Avenues Childcare apart.
• We are looking for a clean, modern, and professional design that is easy to navigate.
• The colour scheme and design elements should reflect our brand’s identity—welcoming, warm, and child-friendly without being overly childish.
• The design must be responsive, ensuring a great user experience across all devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
• Accessibility is crucial—use clear fonts, sufficient contrast, and straightforward navigation.


Content Considerations:
• The content will remain the same; the focus is on enhancing the design and user interface.


Deliverables:
• High-fidelity mock-ups for each of the specified pages.
• Responsive design layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile views.
• Design files should be delivered in a format compatible with any development team.

Target Audience:
• Parents of young children looking for childcare services.
• Community members interested in learning more about our centres and programs.


Submission Requirements:
• A brief explanation of your design approach and how it aligns with our branding goals.
• A portfolio showcasing your previous work, especially any similar projects.
• All requested deliverables must be included in your submission.


Judging Criteria:
• Alignment with our brand identity and the "DNA" of our sister company’s website.
• Visual appeal and user-friendliness of the design.
• Responsiveness and adaptability across different devices.
• Creativity and uniqueness in differentiating Avenues Childcare from our sister company.
