Brief de Design de Logo

I'm in the process of taking over the company from my boss who is retiring. As a part of my future growth plans, I need to re-focus the company...to include the branding of our company. The company focuses on the sale of Valves, Actuators, & Instrumentation to industrial & water/wastewater customers.

Our current logo shows company name only with some "flow" lines (no obvious description of our business). I'm not looking for a complete re-design...our customers recognize our logo, and I like the "flow" lines and overall color pallet. BUT...I would like an updated look with a couple descriptive words. I also want the "Inc" removed from the logo.
