Brief de Design de Logo

I am an addiction medicine physician. I’ve started a business providing comprehensive assessments for businesses and professional regulators, many of whom regulate physicians. The brand needs to show that I pay attention to details and that I am a professional. I like simple designs and legible fonts. I have an interest in medical humanities, especially the history of medicine. Conservative colours are appreciated, no more than two. The design feature below is an example of one I found that has significant meaning (a tribute to Dr. William Osler by Dr. Harvey Cushing), but is not a great shape or size.
