Brief de Design de Logo

We are a research group that focuses on research into improving outcomes for patients who sustain injuries in developing countries (for example - sub-Saharan Africa region, south east Asia).

Injuries are most commonly broken bones (fractures) but can include any injury such as burns, head injuries etc

The logo must have an emblem which embodies what we do as a research group. An example of similar group’s logo are attached.

An idea for the emblem is to incorporate something that signifies bringing people together across the world, or an abstract design of the globe. Another idea would be produce an abstract design of the tree attached - the international symbol of injury. Or incorporating both the tree and the map of the world - map being the trees branches.

The emblem should appear on the left hand side of the wording.

The logo will appear on all aspects of the research groups branding, social media, and website.

We would like the primary logo to say:

NIHR Global Health Research Group on Global Injury

But it is important not to make the focus of the logo the words NIHR. This should simply form part of the title of the group.

But we would also like the logo be presented with the only the words

Global Injury

and

Global Injury Group.

An important aspect of the logo is for it to be simple, display our groups name in words and be recognisable. Furthermore, the logo should be modern, easily readable from near and far, scalable for use on different formats and timeless. Its importune the logo is not too busy.

The emblem should also be something that independently can be associated with our group – without any words. For example, the Apple logo.

We are open to colour schemes.
