Brief de Design Application

Adapt existing Characters to a new game. Create new game elements and environments.

In "Monster Meeps," the setting is a world where advanced genetic engineering is the norm, and players take on the roles of bio-engineers, known as MeepMasters. These MeepMasters compete using their creations, the Monster Meeps, in strategic duels within a specially designed arena facilitated by the Meld Labs.

Meld Labs: This is the central hub where the magic of genetic engineering unfolds. The Meld Labs are responsible for producing MutatoNectar, a powerful genetic modifier that comes in different potencies. This nectar is crucial for the game as it influences the strength and abilities of the Monster Meeps during duels.

MutatoNectar: Acting as a catalyst for transformation, MutatoNectar is released at the beginning of each game round with a specific potency level. This nectar can be used by players to enhance their Monster Meeps, affecting the outcome of duels by temporarily boosting their strength. Each potency level is unique and can only be used once per game, adding a layer of strategy as players must decide the best time to utilize these powerful boosts.

The game progresses through a series of rounds, each involving duels where players select their Monster Meeps and apply MutatoNectar to try to outmatch their opponent. The outcome of each duel depends on the combined strength of the Monster Meep and the potency of the MutatoNectar used. Winners of each round get to place their victorious Monster Meep into their Creature Vault, where it increases in strength and potentially evolves, accumulating genetic enhancements that can be crucial for winning later rounds.

Creature Vault: This feature stores the evolved Monster Meeps, representing the player's accumulated genetic victories. As Monster Meeps win duels and absorb more MutatoNectar, they evolve and become more powerful, transforming into formidable genetic constructs by the end of the game.

The game culminates in a final showdown where the most evolved Monster Meeps from each player's vault are pitted against each other to determine the ultimate winner, based on the cumulative strength and genetic advancements accrued throughout the game.
