Brief de Design de Logo

Logo to be applicable across the board for a class reunion event. (T-Shirts, cocktail napkins, table toppers, posters, etc) This extraordinary event will be attended by highly educated, cosmopolitan and sophisticated men and women from the graduating class of 1977.

This event would be the warm up reunion for the class of '77s big 50th class reunion. The class celebrating is from an American School Foundation in Mexico City, where children of ex-pats went through grades K-12 and were the center of the American community in Mexico. The students at this Institution were mostly from the US and spent the majority of their formative years becoming what is now known as third-culture "kids", with deep roots in Mexican culture , and mixing it together with their own to form a multidimensional community. Many returned to the US, others found a home in Mexico and others yet found completely new borders around the world.

This reunion will be celebrated at one the most iconic city's for Mexican art and culture: Oaxaca. Rich in tradition, the city (and state) is known for it's very colorful ALEBRIJES, it's culinary heritage, MEZCAL, beautiful embroidered HUIPIL clothing, and the celebration of the Guelaguetza which celebrates the population's native past.

Although the design may initially seem simple, we are looking for a contemporary design that would tie back to Oaxacan culture. Please consider the contrast between the traditional and diverse culture
specifically in the state of Oaxaca, and the American influence of the times (70's) hippies, sex, drugs and rock'n'roll,
For a designer, Oaxaca offers an array of textures, colors, mythical beings, art and crafts as inspiration.
Theme song for this reunion will be "Lets spend the night together" from the Rolling Stones.
