Brief de Design de Logo

Novum Solutions is a technical engineering services company in the field of mechanical engineering, rotating equipment maintenance and condition monitoring here in Perth, Western Australia. The industries it operates in are power generation and the resources sector.
I am looking for a logo that is nice and simple/minimalist and includes the company name 'Novum Solutions' and probably also an icon, but it doesn't have to be exactly that, as I'm open to cool ideas that I haven't thought of.
'Novum' in Latin means 'New, novel, fresh, unusual, or unprecedented'.
I don't want too many different colours, and it should also look good if I had to convert it to grayscale (i.e. I had to create decals of the logo in one colour).
The Logo Text can be in upper- or lower-case text, or with first letter of each word in upper case, and the remaining in lower case. Use your creative license here.
