Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new beer festival based in Ballarat called 'Obsidian Dark Beer Festival'.
At Obsidian Dark Beer Festival, we strive to curate an exceptional selection of dark beers, ranging from stouts and porters to black IPAs and barrel-aged specialties. We believe in promoting the exploration and appreciation of these rich, complex, and often underrepresented beer styles.
Our festival will serve as a gathering place for both established and emerging breweries, fostering a sense of community and collaboration within the industry. We envision a space where brewers can showcase their creativity, share their knowledge, and engage with passionate beer lovers.
Obsidian Dark Beer Festival aims to provide an educational component, offering informative sessions and workshops that delve into the history, brewing techniques, and flavour profiles of dark beers. We want attendees to leave the festival with a deeper understanding and appreciation for these unique styles.
The logo would ideally connect with the darkness, while also enticing people into the event experience. It needs to be eye catching, but not in a colourful way, more in an intriguing way. It could connect with well known dark features, but it is important that it doesn't drift too far away from the focus of the event (dark beer).
The words Obsidian Dark Beer Festival can be present, but don't need to be the hero element, with 'Obsidian' the main word to feature.
If hops, barley and/or wheat could be present in the design it would be great.
Also keen for the logo to have a character element, whether dark in nature or something abstract.
