Brief de Design de Logo

My company (Hanerau LLC) provides consulting in the field of manufacturing, in particular working with international companies entering the US market. Hanerau is the name of my wife’s hometown (where I met her) and the dot com was available (hanerau.com), that is how I came up with the name. The town is famous for (not much) the author Theodor Storm who wrote the book “Der Shimmelreiter” which roughly translates to “Rider on the White Horse”

I am looking for these elements:

- A logo that accompanies the company name: the name Hanerau with either a design element included in the word Hanerau or positioned to the right or left of Hanerau
- A logo / design element that can stand without the word “Hanerau”. Why? A logo that is somewhat equally wide as tall is good for putting on LinkedIn, etc.

More input from me:
- For my emails and Word documents I use the font “Bahnschrift”. If the rendering of the word Hanerau in the logo could compliment that font, it would be good
- I like simple logos. Please see the attached logo for another company I had. That company was called WM Grills. I love the simplicity of this logo.
- Minimal color usage would also be appreciated for this logo.
- One possible logo ideas from me: a very basic black and white caricature of a rider on a horse, which would tie into the theme of “Der Schimmelreiter” It is dark, stormy, and cold in Hanerau. Very near the North Sea in Germany.
- I want to project the image of a larger company and not the image of the local plumber
